NORD EcoControl is a smart control panel designed for the entire NORD system, featuring a “turnkey” design that allows for clear monitoring, setup, and control of all devices within a smart green home. Its application extends beyond residential use to include commercial applications as well.
The unique ECO mode functionality efficiently utilizes surplus solar energy, maximizing savings by controlling the heat pump’s compressor frequency based on the overflow size. This functionality also applies to devices like the EcoBoiler and EcoCharge Wallbox.
Connections to the EcoMaster inverter and EcoHeat heat pump are established via the ModBus communication bus, while connections to controllers and other controls utilize ISM radio frequency, WiFi, or Bluetooth.
The touchscreen serves as the system’s core, included in the basic version of the “Basic” set along with the main unit, three pipe thermistors, and an outdoor temperature sensor. The system can be expanded with additional control and monitoring elements based on user requirements. For dividing the system into four or more heating circuits, the EcoControl extension module is utilized.
